The globally recognized Cvent Top Meeting Destinations lists rank cities that stand out for their exceptional ability to attract group business through thoughtful event planner collaboration, distinctive experiential offerings, and unique hotels and venues. Highlights included Arlington’s proximity to DFW International Airport, availability of flexible meeting space (including the largest ballroom in North Texas at Loews Arlington Hotel) and walkability from the Convention Center to Entertainment District attractions.

Arlington has climbed 29 spots in the National ParkScore rankings, jumping from 74th to 44th in the Trust for Public Land's (TPL) ParkScore® rankings over the past three years. Arlington now ranks 4th in Texas among major cities, behind only Plano, Dallas, and Frisco: https://bit.ly/4eTJcYH This jump reflects sustained investment in green space and the City's commitment to making parks accessible to every resident. Seventy-one percent of Arlington residents now live within a half-mile walk of a park.

Raise your glass to 150 years! This Saturday, May 23, attend the official unveiling of a limited edition craft beer in honor of Arlington’s sesquicentennial at Division Brewing. The celebration is open to the public! Enjoy the first public tapping, live entertainment, food and anniversary themed activities.

Last week, the Office of Business Outreach participated as an exhibitor at the DFW Business Council Annual Business Expo. Our team engaged with local business owners across the metroplex and shared information about Arlington’s business development ecosystem. Throughout the event, we highlighted upcoming contract opportunities, promoted our business workshops, and strengthened relationships with current and prospective vendors. Engaging directly with our business community is an essential part of supporting growth and expanding access to City resources, and we appreciated the chance to represent Arlington at this regional event.
