The European Commission's new Technological Sovereignty Package aims to triple European data center capacity in under a decade and integrate those facilities into the energy grid in a sustainable, transparent way. Europe has many strengths. This infrastructure ambition matches them. Across the world, we see AI demand is hitting a power cliff. More compute requires more electricity, and more electricity is useless if the grid can't move it where it's needed. In 2025, Australia alone lost 7.2 terawatt-hours of clean energy because transmission couldn't keep pace with generation. Europe faces the same structural problem. Armada has been focused from day one on bringing AI infrastructure to stranded energy, not the other way around. Our Galleon modular data centers are built to run on any available power source, deployable wherever compute is needed most. With WinDC, we're deploying Australia's first network of portable AI factories powered by renewable energy, helping fulfil its ambitions for sovereign AI compute nationwide. Next winter, we'll deliver a Galleon to an oil rig for Aker BP on the Norwegian Continental Shelf to help their drive toward autonomous operations. It’s the first modular data center deployed offshore and a meaningful step toward sovereignty for Norwegian companies. Sovereign compute isn't only a policy goal. It's an operational requirement for countries to win the AI race. And it has to run where the energy is. https://lnkd.in/dxfgXWER

The MISSION 2044 Tokyo Resilience Summit brought together leaders from defense, industry, finance, and government to explore how innovation and industrial capability strengthen national resilience and security. Armada was honored to participate alongside other leading companies from the United States and Europe, engaging with Japan’s defense and industrial communities on sovereign AI, resilient digital infrastructure, and mission-critical computing. The discussions reinforced the importance of trusted partnerships and advanced technology in building more secure and resilient societies.

Thank you AtomsNotBits for passing the mic to our Co-Founder and CEO Dan Wright this week!
America must stockpile compute for the new era of national security. Armada just secured $230M to help build that compute stockpile, developing modular edge data centers for critical infrastructure and remote environments. U.S. Navy ships, oil rigs, remote mines, manufacturing facilities, and critical infrastructure sites are becoming the front lines of data generation, where 75% of data is now being generated. Our interview with Armada CEO Dan Wright breaks down the rise of hyperscaler infrastructure at the edge and why decentralized compute is becoming one of the most important strategic assets.

From rack resiliency to node redundancy, there's no longer any need for America's warfighters and their allies to drown in data. Thank you to John T. Seward at The Washington Times for chatting with Tyler Sweatt and I about how Armada and Second Front work together to deliver AI with speed, scale and sovereignty: https://lnkd.in/gTiWK6XS

On Memorial Day, I remember my grandfather. Bill Wright's ship was struck by a kamikaze in WWII. He survived. But it changed our whole family, the same way so many families’ lives have been changed. This year I also want to recognize the veterans now at Armada. Heroes who deployed overseas multiple times, operated a nuclear reactor at sea, reorganized the Navy's helicopter community during the global war on terror, led Coast Guard unmanned aircraft systems programs, trained partner nation troops in survival skills, managed payroll for thousands of Marines and so much more. They carry that same sense of duty into their work here. Leaning forward, taking ownership, helping build the infrastructure the DoW needs to operate as an AI-first warfighting force. We will never forget their courage and that of thousands of others that makes our freedom possible.

Distributed compute needs to be deployed with speed, scale, and sovereignty. Dan joined Bloomberg Tech this week to talk about Galleon Forge One, our Series B, and the infrastructure buildout required to meet growing demand for inference, fine-tuning, and distributed model deployment at scale. The next wave of compute will not live only in centralized clouds. It will need to be deployed where land, energy, and data already exist. That is what Armada was built for. That is what Galleon delivers.

The question isn't whether AI is coming to special operations. It's already there. The real question is whether the compute infrastructure can keep up where connectivity is intermittent, logistics are constrained, and teams are small. That's a harder problem than most people building AI tools are actually solving for. At SOFWeek, we're focusing on conversations that keep coming up: - How does a sovereign AI stack actually integrate into existing SOF architecture and workflows? - Which frontier models can realistically run at the tactical edge, fully air-gapped, and what does that unlock for operational decision-making? - When the requirement calls for lightweight and ruggedized, what options exist beyond the large form factor, and how do they connect back to the broader compute layer? At Armada we build AI infrastructure for exactly these environments. Our platform is designed to process data where it's generated, without waiting on a connection that may or may not be there. Come and bring your toughest challenges to us at the Outpost. Russell Cihal Tori McCaffrey Derek M. Heese Keegan Jones

Thank you CNBC for recognizing Armada on the CNBC Disruptor 50 list. We are building the infrastructure required for AI to run where the data, energy, and mission live. Our Galleons are already delivering real-time data processing for customers across defense, energy, industrial operations, and remote environments. Galleon Forge One is the next step: continuous American manufacturing of modular data centers, built to deploy AI infrastructure at speed, scale, and with sovereignty.
