  • "In racing, it’s the crew in the pits and the guys in the shop who put you in Victory Lane. It’s no different at a dealership." – Kerry Earnhardt Modern vehicles are rolling supercomputers, so servicing them requires more than mechanics — it requires brilliant technicians. That’s why preparing our Ford Auto Tech Scholars takes more than tuition; it takes real-world experiences that help them move from the classroom into their careers. We recently hosted a hands-on Career Day at Joey Logano's Huntersville Ford, led by NASCAR champion Joey Logano and shop foreman Kerry Earnhardt. Scholars went behind the scenes in active service bays to tackle diagnostic challenges and learn what it takes to succeed on the shop floor. Since 2023, Ford Philanthropy and Ford dealers have invested over $11 million in scholarships to support 2,200 students. A huge thank you to the team at Huntersville Ford for investing their time to help bridge the gap between classroom learning and a rewarding career. The places we work should be inspiring -- and remind us we're part of a tradition of excellence. When I worked at The Detroit News, I loved to stare at historic front pages. They were a quiet challenge: this is the standard, now go add to it. So, after years of decidedly drab and non-descript environs (10th floor WHQ vets will back me up here) we decided to dress up our new Communications space in Ford World Headquarters South The space is now alive with the moments that define us: the 2016 Le Mans victory, 50 years after the historic 1-2-3 triumph. Eminem closing the show at the reopening of Michigan Central. The Raptor T1+ tearing through the sand at Dakar. And we put our products front and center -- Mustang, Bronco, F-150, etc. Communications and PR is a creative endeavor, and creative people do their best work in places that inspire them. Because it's more than a job -- each day we get the chance to add to a story more than a century in the making. Said Deep Richard Binhammer Jordan Mammo

  • Congratulations on your 10-year Mile Marker with Ford, Amanda! We’re looking forward to your next round of photos and memories. #WeAreFord #FordCareers Join us to create a decade of work you can be proud of with teammates who are proud of you: careers.ford.com

10 years later… It’s hard to believe it’s been a decade with Ford. As I searched for pictures to represent my work in the last 10 years, what I found was so much better. Pictures with the people that made all the difference and kept me at this company for 10 years. People that changed from coworkers to friends I celebrate (or commiserate) life with. Pictures of a beautiful life made possible through the work/life balance and perks of being a Ford employee. The work is a blur, with a few highlights, but the people have been the most formative of all. Thank you for a beautiful 10 years, inside and outside of work ❤️

Marjace Miles’ Ford story is proof of the variety you can find in one company. “I feel like I’m in my third – or maybe even fourth -- career within Ford,” the senior brand manager says. He’s gone from the fast-paced world of Ford Racing to the startup energy of the autonomous vehicle and electric teams. Now leading Ford’s franchised repair businesses Quick Lane and Around the Wheel, he says he’s still just scratching the surface of what’s possible here. Marjace credits his experience at The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management as a transformative experience that helped him succeed as he moved across different roles and organizations. The former Consortium fellow and 2019 Ross School of Business grad says, “I’m really excited to reconnect with the upcoming cohort of CGSM fellows and share with them what makes Ford Motor Company an exceptional place to work.” For the students heading to the event, his advice is simple: skip the script. “We aren't looking for a scripted version of a candidate; we want your authentic self and your unique perspective. That starts with your very first interaction with us.” Marjace says Ford is an incredible place to start a career right now. “At this moment, it’s about completely rethinking how we build and use vehicles…we’re reinventing the assembly line, developing a Universal Electric Vehicle platform, making manufacturing more efficient, and constantly improving the customer experience with tech like our hands-free BlueCruise system.” “We’re building the future of movement. Who wouldn’t want to work on that?” Are you attending Consortium this year? Make sure to stop by June 1 and meet Marjace to learn more. I had a great conversation with actor Tom Pelphrey on this week's DRIVE. We talked about our love of road trips and quality family time, but what stayed with me most was his thoughtful perspective on success, identity, and what it takes to stay grounded in who you are while navigating life and career.
