We're proud to share that County Engineer Brad Estochen has been named the recipient of the David P. Brand Safety Award by the National Association of County Engineers (NACE)—a lifetime achievement honor recognizing sustained, career-defining contributions to road safety across the country. Brad's career spans nearly 20 years at MnDOT, where he helped pioneer a data-driven approach to county road safety planning that the Federal Highway Administration recognized as a national model—and that now shapes federal SS4A policy across the country. Since joining Ramsey County, he's continued that work overseeing 290+ miles of county roads, 300+ traffic signals, and active university research partnerships on pedestrian safety. This kind of recognition doesn't happen without decades of dedication to the data, the partnerships, and the people. Congratulations, Brad—we are so proud to have your expertise and leadership serving Ramsey County. Read more: https://lnkd.in/egd82pzr
