Updates

  • As we move in to June, we are invited into reflection, celebration, remembrance, and continued action. Pride Month and Juneteenth each carry deep cultural significance — honoring resilience, liberation, identity, community, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and belonging.   While these observances have distinct histories and meanings, both remind us of something essential: people thrive when they feel seen, supported, and safe enough to show up fully as themselves.   As teams prepare programming, campaigns, conversations, and internal initiatives for June, this can also be an opportunity to ask:   • Are we creating spaces where employees feel psychologically safe and supported?
• Are ERGs being adequately resourced, valued, and included in decision-making?
• Are we approaching these observances with authenticity, care, and long-term commitment?
• How are we supporting the wellbeing of employees navigating these conversations and experiences personally?   At Wellgncy, we believe wellness and inclusion are deeply interconnected.  Creating cultures of care means supporting the emotional, mental, and communal wellbeing of employees.

  • There is something deeply meaningful about watching people pause long enough to reconnect with themselves and one another.  Recently, Wellgncy had the honor of partnering with leadership teams and associates at Ulta corporate for a series of wellness sessions designed to support both personal wellbeing and the wellbeing of the teams they lead.   What unfolded in the room was a powerful reminder that intentional spaces for grounding, reflection, and shared humanity truly matter.  Throughout the experience, associates engaged in guided breathing exercises, tapping techniques, community building activities, and moments of collective connection led by multiple practitioners.   What continues to inspire us most is hearing how these tools are extending beyond the session itself. Participants have already begun incorporating breathing and tapping techniques into their daily lives, and leaders shared excitement about bringing these practices back to their teams and workplaces moving forward. Our focus has always been, ‘what can sustainable integration look like’

  • As we step into May, we’re invited into a collective pause - one that honors #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth not as a moment, but as an ongoing practice. At Wellgncy, we believe mental health is not something to “fix” when it’s strained, but something to tend to consistently, intentionally, and with care. In today’s fast-moving environments, mental well-being is often treated as an afterthought. But the truth is, sustainable performance, thoughtful leadership, and meaningful connection all begin with how supported people feel - internally and externally. This month offers an opportunity to shift the narrative from awareness alone to integration: how we build cultures, experiences, and daily rhythms that actively support mental health. Throughout May, Wellgncy is focusing on creating spaces and offerings that meet people where they are. From grounding experiences and restorative workshops to leadership support rooted in emotional intelligence and nervous system awareness, our work is designed to make mental well-being feel accessible, not overwhelming. We’re also encouraging our partners and community to consider: • What does support look like beyond surface-level solutions? • How can we create environments that normalize rest and reflection • Where can small, consistent practices replace pressure-driven change? If you’re looking to bring intentional, human-centered mental health experiences to your team, brand, or community this month and beyond, we’d love to support you.

  • Healthy Conversation is an experimental space that we built to fill a void 8 years ago - a safe container where people can authentically be themselves, free themselves, and ultimately realize hey,  I’m not the only one experiencing this. I’m not alone in this silent conversation that I’m having in my head.

Thank you Nashville for receiving with so much vulnerability, passion, and depth. It never gets old how awestruck we are the moment we drop in and the energy starts moving through us all. We always run out of time, and the connections built are always fruitful.

The topic was Affirming Your Capacity, and key gems we walked away with are :

-When you practice knowing, it will become
-Your professional success is not your whole identity
-Alchemize anger in to resources for your growth
-Joy and grief can exist within the same breath
-Ease doesn’t mean it’s easy

We are looking forward to our next city, can you guess where?  As always, we offer Healthy Conversation as an online and in person workplace wellness offering.    If you are interested in bringing it to your company utilizing one of our topics or custom curating your own, let us know!

      +1
  • Lately, we’ve been having more conversations both with our clients and within our own community about how people are really feeling right now. And the truth is, for many, it’s a mix. Moments of clarity and connection alongside stress, fatigue, and the pressure to keep going. That’s why Mental Health Awareness Month coming up in May feels especially important this year. This year’s theme, “More Good Days, Together,” is a powerful reminder that mental health is not just an individual experience—it’s something we shape collectively through the environments we create, the conversations we hold, and the ways we support one another at work. While awareness is important, this year’s theme invites us to go a step further—to ask: How are we creating more good days for our teams? Not just occasionally, but consistently. This means building environments where employees have: -Space to pause and reset -Tools to navigate stress in real time -Support that feels accessible and human -A sense of connection and belonging At Wellgncy, we believe mental health support should feel integrated, not overwhelming. Our offerings are designed to meet employees where they are and provide practical, restorative tools that contribute to more balanced, supported workdays. Because more good days aren’t created through intention alone—they’re created through action, consistency, and care. If you’re looking to deepen your approach to mental health this month and beyond, we’re here to support you.

  • The mission has always been to make #healingalifestyle and to #normalizevulnerability . We need these spaces more than ever, and what a pleasure to bring Healthy Conversation: Affirming Your Capacity to Nashville. Join us on April 9th for an evening of honest conversation and community connection. Together with Wellgncy , we’ll explore what it means to honor our capacity, set boundaries, and navigate the balance between work, life, and wellbeing. The topic will dive into the nuances of honoring our own capacity, and giving ourselves grace when it inevitably shifts. Societally and culturally our relationship to capacity varies, and oftentimes we don't know how to communicate our needs to others, let alone affirm that our capacity is enough. How do we implement boundaries when necessary, advocate for ourselves, and try to pour from a cup that is overflowing? We encourage authenticity, curiosity, and transparency to break down stigma and normalize vulnerability. Come connect, listen, and be part of the conversation. This is a free event, check out the link to register: https://luma.com/24s5c4qd

  • We officially ushered in the Spring Equinox on Friday - a moment of transition, renewal, and possibility. Often referred to as a birthing season, spring invites us into a time of creation and development. It’s an ideal time to reset habits, nourish the body, and build a foundation that supports both personal and professional growth.   We hope you’re feeling inspired to activate the seeds you’ve been planting.   As we move into this season of renewal, nutrition becomes a powerful tool for supporting both energy and clarity. Just as nature shifts, our bodies benefit from aligning with seasonal rhythms - supporting digestion, focus, and overall wellbeing.   At Wellgncy, we view nutrition as a foundational pillar of wellbeing. When employees are nourished, they’re not just more productive - they’re more present, more balanced, and better equipped to navigate the demands of work and life.   Our nutrition offerings are designed to support: * Sustained energy and reduced fatigue * Mental clarity and focus * Stress regulation through intentional nourishment * A deeper connection to how food supports overall wellbeing * It has been a wonderful month celebrating and facilitating sessions with you all for Women’s History Month. We’re grateful to have created spaces that center reflection, connection, and collective wellness.    If you’re looking to bring intentional, restorative wellness experiences to your team this season, we’re here to support you.

  • As we step in to March, we wrap out February with some beautiful online and in person activations we have facilitated for our partners. At Sony Music Headquarters we provided a Deep Rest Yin Meditation and Sound Bath Experience for employees. A sound bath can be a trending term these days, but the healing modality itself has immense impact. What Is a Sound Bath? A sound bath is a guided wellness experience where participants relax while listening to resonant instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, gongs, and other therapeutic sound tools. The experience helps the body and mind slow down, often guiding participants into a deeply restorative state similar to meditation. Unlike traditional meditation, sound baths require very little effort from participants. Employees simply listen, breathe, and allow the sound vibrations to guide their nervous system into a calmer state. Why Sound Baths Work in the Workplace • Reduce stress and nervous system overload – Sound vibrations help shift the body from a stress response into a state of rest and repair. • Improve focus and mental clarity – When the mind has space to pause, cognitive function improves and employees often return to work feeling refreshed and more present. • Support emotional regulation – Work environments can be emotionally demanding. Sound baths help release tension and promote a sense of calm. • Encourage collective restoration – Experiencing a sound bath together allows teams to pause collectively, strengthening connection and reinforcing a culture that values wellbeing. • Accessible for everyone – No prior meditation experience or physical ability is required, making sound baths an inclusive wellness experience for diverse teams.
