And what an honor to work alongside a future-focused team that can sprint to bring value and usability to market in a landscape that is becoming very much “evolve or die” Beacon is not just an AI feature. It represents a real shift in workflow. When institutional grade data infrastructure is paired with LLM interfaces, analysis that once took hours can now be completed in minutes without sacrificing rigor. The beta reinforced a critical point. AI does not create discipline, it scales it. Strong data foundations turn AI into a force multiplier. Weak ones create risk. We are still early in asset management AI adoption, but integration into core workflows is quickly becoming table stakes. Thoughtful implementation will separate signal from noise. Excited to watch clients translate this into real operational alpha…and our business is just getting started.

Awesome conversation this morning in #Boston hosted by SVB's Ben Maitland-Lewis and wiggin(x) discussing IP and general pit falls that many early-stage founders fall into when establishing their companies. A few comments from the discussion: 🚨 Have the hard conversations early when establishing a co-founder relationship (and document it with lawyers): equity splits, stock buybacks, etc. Don't avoid the hard conversations and set governance early. If avoided, they have a sneaky way of being very disruptive later on. 💲 Watch out when assuming your 1099 employee actually qualifies as a consultant vs. a true employee. This can have follow-on and unanticipated negative implications later. 🔐 On IP, you can file for a provisional patent early, and while you can re-file a provisional patent, it will result in a later priority date. The US works on a first-to-file system, so unless you have a non-provisional (formal) patent approved, someone else can beat you to the punch. Great to see such an engaged audience and great questions coming directly from the #founders in the room!
