Last week, I had the opportunity to speak on the Performance Management panel at the Mile High SHRM Annual Conference alongside Shannon Ardo, Jennifer Law, and Jeremy Edmonds. We had a great conversation about why the traditional performance management cycle is broken and how organizations must evolve to meet the needs of today’s workforce. My advice for leaders looking to make changes: don’t feel discouraged if transformation doesn’t happen quickly. Meaningful change takes time and organizational alignment. Start with one question: What is one thing you can do today to move your performance management process in the right direction?
