I recently went to Korea and realized I do not shop the local super markets anymore here. So on the last day of school I stopped by and realized I got a great deal on a product I really like. I went to my local store near 24 hour fitness on El Camino and found an even better deal. However, what really made me come back was the staff. I totally butchered Rosalba’s name and se did not correct me, then when I returned to apologize I met Elizabeth, who is probably my favorite employee now. Elizabeth has always been helpful and seems to care as much as I do about saving me money. She often says see you tomorrow and so I just stop by for an item or two and to say hi to employees. I highly recommend you going to see the staff and shop the deals. I know Elizabeth and others will take care of you.

I have tried this app twice. The first time, it was difficult to set up an account, open it in the store and get the coupons into the cart to get credit at the check stand. I even had Lucky employees trying to help me. They said it was not easy to use and they were constantly helping customers to try load it and get it to work. It never worked well so I deleted it from my Iphone.The next time I downloaded the app about 6 months later in order to get the sale price using the digital coupons. It worked a couple of times, then IT FROZE MY IPHONE at the check stand. I couldn’t delete the app, nor could I turn off my phone. When I got home it took me about 15 minutes of research on my laptop to find a video with the right sequence of pressing the side buttons to finally turn my phone off. When I turned my phone back on I immediately deleted the app. The manager at my local Lucky didn’t believe that the app crashed my phone, and said no one ever had any problems. I have used and kept multiple types of apps with no issue, this was the only one I have ever had a this serious of a problem with in over 15 years of owning multiple iterations of IPhones.

The new app is a loss compared to the previous version. On iPad I can’t enlarge anymore. Can’t add a product from the weekly flyer to your shopping list. Can’t zoom in on a product (pinch). What a joke. The app is probably better for the Savemart company. Most probably they can track even more and collect more and more data from their loyal customers. I’m so fed up with it. Prices higher and higher, the coupons are mostly so called savings on horrible products but hardly ever on decent food. A loaf of bread without chemicals (acc to the label) is $6.99 and $7.49 for sourdough. I’ve never seen it on sale. Ever. Shame on you Savemart!

I’ve been shopping with Lucky for a really long time and it’s really sad that I’m not able to log into my account. I can’t even use the digital clipping coupons. I have even tried using it on the website as well and I can’t even login. I enter my information but when you hit the continue button, it doesn’t allow you to go any further. What’s the point of even having this app downloaded to my phone or even shopping at this store for that matter especially if I can’t even use the digital coupons for the savings. I have brought it to the attention of the sales clerks in the store and they just told me to take it to corporate but yet they don’t give me a corporate phone number to call or even a website to go to! I’ve even went through the trouble of trying to create a whole new account in hopes that, that might work, but nope, nothing don’t download this app. It’s trash. It’s not gonna work for you.
