BUILD MIGHTY HALLS
Raise viking longhouses and build bases that offer reprieve from the dangers ahead. Customise buildings, both inside and out, with a detailed building system. Progress through building tiers to upgrade, expand and defend your base.
GATHER, CRAFT AND SURVIVE
Struggle to survive as you gather materials and craft weapons, armor, tools, ships, and defenses. Decorate your hearths and sharpen your blades, grow crops and vegetables, prepare food, brew meads and potions, and progress as you defeat more difficult bosses and discover new recipes and blueprints.

- Flexible building system that takes structural integrity and ventilation into account. Build a small shelter or an entire village, make outposts or claim abandoned buildings as your own. Then customize to your liking.

- Epic boss fights that will test even the best prepared vikings and offer rewards that help you on your journey.

Love Valheim since it came to the Mac. Playing on an M3 Max MacBook Pro at 1440p with max visuals. The Iron Gate/Coffee Stain team has done an amazing job creating a true exploration, crafting, & survival world full of lore and true progression. Absolutely bargain price for the amount of hours of enjoyable gameplay. And the trees! I just love chopping the trees…trying to get them to fall like dominoes…and replanting. Last but not least at all….the developer made it SUPER easy to connect with friends either natively in game with join codes or even built in a Mac Dedicated Server. Inside the Mac App Store app package is a PDF with instructions and we set that up on a spare M1 Mini. THANK YOU!!!

Absolutely wonderful game! I am an Architect and am hooked with the building system. I love that I can put the opponents in to passive mode so I can concentrate on my designs. I save the battles for when I am frustrated with a project at the day job office. When I get home, it’s Valheim bashing time on those days. Valheim therapy. LOL However, it’s sad that it is so difficult to run the mods on the MacOS. I wish that could be changed soon. I’d pay another $20 just to get that functionality without running and dealing with an emulator.

I have 500 hrs in Valheim on my PC but recently converted that computer into a compute resource, so i tried Valheim on my mac and the devs have absolutely nailed the experience.Performance has been fantastic at maximum settings (using an M2 Max) and the sound is noticably better through a pair of AirPod Max. There are a few bugs but still on par with any other PC game I've played in the last 5 years so I'm not taking off a star.As a long time PC gamer, this has completely changed my mind about Mac gaming, it can be SO GOOD.

I understand that the makers are never going to change the graphics and im chill with that. Overall its an amazing game (although its better on steam) and its even funner with friends, if u wanna play with friend u r gonna need a 3rd party app to voice chat. This game is incredible for how much I paid for it. I have 200ish hours on it and im still finding new things on the map. It’s a really chill game to if u want it to be, even the tutorial area is really fun. Awesome job guys, I wish all adventure games where this good.
