Nothing replaces hands-on experience. That’s why over the past month, our teams came together across WSP in Canada for mine waste field training designed to build both technical capability and field leadership. Hosted in BC, Alberta, Ontario & Quebec the sessions brought together teams at different stages of their careers to focus on: ✅ Practical field techniques, from drilling to instrumentation ✅ CQA/CQC practices and their connection to design ✅ Planning and leading field programs ✅ Site investigations and material characterization For our early career professionals, it was an opportunity to gain real-world exposure and confidence in field conditions. For more experienced staff, it strengthened the skills needed to lead safe, consistent, well-executed programs. Special thanks to ConeTec for delivering all the field training!

  • A major project is gaining momentum! The tramway project is a structuring initiative for the City of #Québec that will meet the growing mobility needs of today and tomorrow. The TramCité project has recently reached a key development milestone: our Tram Alliance consortium has been selected by CDPQ Infra to carry out the civil works contract for the Québec City tramway. Composed of Construction Kiewit and EBC Inc., with Kiewit Engineering Group as subcontractor, and supported by WSP in Canada, CIMA+, Artelia Canada Richez_Associés in Canada, and Régis Architecture, our consortium will leverage the complementary expertise of its teams to design and deliver sustainable and transformative #infrastructure for the City of Québec. This selection marks the beginning of a crucial phase of co-development and detailed design, in collaboration with all project partners. Together, we will help bring an ambitious #mobility vision to life, for the benefit of citizens and the community.

  • This is what innovation looks like. Across Canada and beyond, our teams face complex environmental challenges in harsh and remote conditions. WSP’s Innovation Lab brings together engineers, scientists, technicians, and digital specialists to design, prototype, and deploy solutions that perform reliably in the field, when dependable data matters most. From autonomous buoy systems that help protect marine mammals, to cutting edge telemetry and real‑time digital platforms, the Lab is where ideas are transformed into tangible impact in the real world. ▶️ Watch the video and explore the full story: https://lnkd.in/ebbBYtVz #InnovationLab #WeAreWSP

#SeSouvenirPourElles #Polytechnique #6Décembre __________ Today, with heavy hearts, we remember the 14 women whose lives were taken. They never had the chance to work alongside us in the Canadian engineering industry. They never had the chance to live the full lives they dreamed of—lives filled with careers, friendships, families, and futures. Their senseless murder is a stark reminder of the responsibility we all share: to make our world a safe place – free from violence, hate and discrimination. On this National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women, we honour their memory by looking inward and committing to action against gender-based violence. Collectively we must do everything we can to educate, to change, and to act. This is how we truly honour the 14 women who didn’t come home on December 6, 1989. #RememberThe14 #Polytechnique #December6
