    Good afternoon

Is it possible to have one form send to different emails based on one field selection?

Scenario: We have nine provinces, and nine departments of education, parents need to register their child with the department in their own province.

If they choose province 1 then the email is sent to that department
If they choose province 2 then the email is sent to that department

Nine selections and nine different email addresses

    Hope you can advise
    Andre

    Hi @globalmerchant

    I hope you’re well toda!

Yes, this is possible. All notifications that you set in “Email notifications” section of form setting can have conditions added and/or routing set.

Depending on what you want to achieve you can use condition, routing, or both.

If you want these notifications to be different – not only sent to different e-mail addresses but also have e.g. different content, subject etc – you would want to use conditions. In short, you’d create multiple e-mail notifications and set them to be sent to different e-mails as described here:

    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#conditions-tab

If it’s all the very same notification and it’s only about sending it to different e-mails depending on form choices, then you can create single notification and use routing instead, as described here:

    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#email-routing

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Hello @globalmerchant ,

We haven’t heard from you for over a week now, so it looks like you don’t need our assistance anymore.

Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    Kind regards
    Kasia
