    Hi @michelles00,
    SearchWP modal plugin is used to display a default search form in a popup overlay. It does not have built-in integration to add a category dropdown.

    You will need to use custom modal template to load your own search form with dropdown. You can check this link for more details https://searchwp.com/extensions/modal-form/#code
