What does the error message say?
When you say you updated, do you mean like you updated to WordPress 4.2 or did you just write a new blog post.
When you uploaded via FTP, are you sure you put them in the correct folder? It looks like your WordPress install for the blog is on a subdomain, which is why I ask.
How are you using the WordPress Grid CDN? Is that where all your images are? I ask because domain tools says you only have 8 images (7 of which are missing alt tags).
Could it be a hosting issue? Was the host down? Was the image perhaps too large for your host’s limits? Are you at your memory limit? Are you smushing images?
Did you make a backup before updating? If not, you might want to quickly export all the posts at least so you have them.
I’m going to try to answer your questions to the best of my ability, although I’ll admit some of this is greek to me. . .
The error message is simple. It says:
The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2015/05.
I created that directory manually and loaded the image I’m trying to use. I can access it, here: http://www.muttmagic.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/bannerMM.gif However, it’s not showing up in the image library, and the image library continues to not function. My goal here is to use this image as the header. That’s all I really want to do. If I need to manually load images and link them through posts that way, so be it.
“How are you using the WordPress Grid CDN?” I have absolutely no idea what this means.
It’s not a hosting issue; the host is up, and I’ve loaded the image manually. I just can’t access it to use it. Smushing images? What’s that?
Yes, I have a backup and have all of my posts on hand. I’ve also recently updated Java, in case this was the error. This didn’t help the problem.
Thanks for any additional help!!!
