PHP 8.0 Fatal Error

    The Event Calendar throws a fatal error on PHP 8.0 when the “LearnDash” plugin is also active and when editing a post.

    Hi @metalinedev

    Thanks for reaching out. Could you try updating your “LearnDash” to the latest version and check if that resolves the issue?

    If that doesn’t help, could you provide the version of the following? This will help me understand how your system is set up.

    • PHP
    • WordPress
    • The Events Calendar
    • Theme
    • LearnDash

    Hi @metalinedev, we still have incompatibilities with PHP 8.0. That being said, could you try downgrading to 7.4 and see if that makes a difference.

    To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.
