Replace / Update Slider Block

    I just started with getwid and loved it from the first moment! But there’s one thing that borthers me. The slider still use slick slider, a jquery plugin that got not significant updates since about 10 years. Slick sliders not only use jquery, it still contains a lot ugly browser hacks not needed nowadays.

    I really want my frontend jquery free and use wp_dequeue_script(‘jquery’) for non-logged users. Are there plans to update the slider with something more modern & well maintained? How about SwiperJS?

    Thank you for your feedback! We’re pleased to hear that you enjoy using our Getwid blocks.

    Regarding the Slick slider in our plugin, we currently don’t have any plans to replace or update it. However, we will keep your request in mind for future releases, especially if we receive similar inquiries from other customers. Thank you once again!
