Table wp_woocommerce_sessions

Suddenly, I started noticing that the plugin was behaving very strangely. It was continuously and uncontrollably creating entries in the wp_woocommmerce_sesions table.

It creates entries of 80,000 characters with content that starts like this:

Every day, you may be generating around 100 MB of waste.

Why is this happening and how can I prevent it from continuing?
