In reply to: [OceanWP] @media CSS-instruction not working via Child ThemeThe first intelligent and competent counterquestion to my problem would have been: “Is a cache plugin running in your installation?”
This intelligent and competent counterquestion would have guided me to solve my problem …
But your superficial replies were not at all helpful, never.
Maybe someone else should answer the problem arising here …Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [OceanWP] web2PDF: only one page is convertedAgain: if you are willing to read and understand what I want to tell the oceanWP developers, you should be able to grasp my feedback and bug-report.
Before I installed oceanWP, I was able to convert my whole website to PDF (with any tool).
Now, I only get the landing page as PDF – with the same tools as before.
I know that oceanWP wants the navigation placed only in the header. But the theme offers also the possibility to put the navigation in the sidebar-widget.
Therefore, I assume that the navigation is found anyhow – otherwise why would oceanWP offer the possibility to put the navigation in the sidebar?
BUT: it seems as if any PDF-converting tool could not find my sidebar-navigation, because oceanWP doesn’t offer the path to the navigation.
You understand now? If not, maybe a more competent one could comprehend my problem.
And please spare me with any further prefabricated text blocks.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [OceanWP] web2PDF: only one page is convertedWell, when you read my message carefully, you must understand, that whatever PDF converter I use, I only get the landing page converted.
This happens only since I use OceanWP – before, with another theme, the whole website was converted.
You understand, what I say? OceanWP is constructed in a way, that all other pages besides the landing page are not found.
This has to have to do with the navigation, of course. And since I put my navigation into the sidebar and not in the header, maybe that could explain why the other pages are not found by none of all PDF converter.
You understand now my problem?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [OceanWP] @media CSS-instruction not working via Child ThemeWell, I could resolve the issue with the different css-files.
But my feeling of workflow inconsistency remains, because some css instructions can only be placed in the /oceanwp/uploads/custom-style.cssForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [OceanWP] @media CSS-instruction not working via Child Themewell, both CSS instructions are identical in style.css of the Child Theme and in the Customizer:
@media only screen and (max-width: 959px) {
.widget-area,
.content-left-sidebar .widget-area {
display: none !important;
}
}my reason for this CSS instruction: as soon as the hamburger menu appears (vieport smaller than 960px) and since I have the navigation bar on the left side (not in the header), the sidebar would be present as second page, if there is not @media rule.
Thanks for the fast update: version 3.01 corrects my complaining about the annoying blue banner – the banner has gone!
We’ve found the bug
oh, that’s fine!
it was not up to me to decide if it’s a bug or made on purpose by your marketing guy who wants to make more money …since the update from version 2.16.0 to 3.0.0 the banner is permanent and on every page, clicking on one of the options does nothing.
this is greedy, aggressive!The blue banner permanently hides when you click on it.
this is just not true !

In reply to: [wp-Typography] HTML2PDF: Adobe exports hidden signs and shows themhi pepe
yes! that’s exactly what I meant: “a bug in Adobe’s product”. I therefore didn’t mark this thread as bug in your plugin, but just wanted to inform about this bug of Adobe.
Re exporting: with the option “print to PDF” you only get the actual web page. In Adobe Acrobat Pro you can print a whole website to PDF. That’s why I discovered this bug.

In reply to: 2nd multisite with 2nd domain on one server: nogofollow-up to be more precise:
domain1 is an existing multilingual website
domain2 should host “PressBooks” which needs a clean new multisite installationi cannot imagine why this should not be possible:
two separate installations with separate wp-config.php and .htaccess,
two separate databases,
two separate domains – just placed on the same webserver.glad for any hint and help

thanks, ryan, for your fast reply.
indeed, your plugin works with multisite.
it would be helpful to actualise the plugin description.the installation for multisites is identical for all plugins:
install it in the network and then activate it network-wide.
the rest is like you write: “honeypot” is just another tag in the form window.hope that helps?!
