Up until 2012, women were not allowed to be members at the Augusta National Golf Club. Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and businesswoman Darla Moore became the first women members, ending 80 years of an all-male membership. At the The Female Quotient Lounge in Augusta during the Masters with DraftKings Inc., we paused to reflect on how recent that history really is, and what it means for where we go next. Progress doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when women show up, take up space, and bring others with them. Suddenly, rooms (and golf courses) that weren’t built for us start to feel different because we’re in them, together. Here’s to turning progress into a hole-in-one moment. ⛳️
