Would you like to help improve the accessibility of CMS, LMS, no-code tools, and other 'authoring tools'? The Authoring Tools Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG) Community Group (CG) at W3C will hold its first online meeting on 21 November 2025. https://lnkd.in/gQFVY8k9 About ATAG: Authoring tools are software and services that 'authors' (developers, designers, writers) use to produce web content. Content management systems (CMS), learning management systems (LMS), and no-code website builders are examples of authoring tools. ATAG addresses two aspects of accessibility: * Tools are accessible to content authors with disabilities * Tools enable, support, and promote the production of accessibility content Learn more from the Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG) Overview https://lnkd.in/gnxFtSP6 ATAG Community Group (CG) will focus on: * Updating ATAG for the next generation of authoring tools * Updating ATAG in alignment with WCAG 2 and WCAG 3 development * Addressing the role of AI in authoring tools W3C Community Groups are open for anyone to join and participate. For information, see the ATAG CG page https://lnkd.in/gQFVY8k9 We particularly encourage you to share this information with organizations that develop authoring tools.

W3C WAI invites you to comment on the updated Draft Note Accessibility Maturity Model https://lnkd.in/dvyXKa6A It is a complete draft ready for full review before it is published as a Group Note. The Accessibility Maturity Model provides a framework to assess an organization's policies and procedures to deliver accessible products and services. It can be used to measure current capabilities, identify gaps, and plan improvements. We welcome your comments on the following questions: - Is it clear how you might use the model? - Is it clear how levels are used to define organizational maturity? - Are the dimensions broad enough to encompass all aspects of organizational maturity? - Do you think the guidance works for different sizes and types of organizations? - Are there any concepts or terms in the document that need better explanation? We also welcome copyedits and editorial suggestions to improve the quality of the writing. To comment, open a new issue in GitHub or send email. The email address and GitHub links are in the 'Status of This Document' section. Please send comments by 30 September 2025. Thanks in advance for your input! #DigitalAccessibility
