#WED2026 World Environment Day (June 5) and #WorldOceansDay (June 8) share a common thread this year: protecting our planet's climate and marine ecosystems. Here's what we're doing on the land, and in the water. Azerbaijan – Beach clean-ups and tree planting 🏖️ 🌳  The Caspian Beach Clean-up has become an annual tradition. Colleagues and their families collect waste along the shoreline—2 tonnes removed so far. In parallel, a tree-planting programme has added more than 140 trees to the local landscape. Mediterranean – Seagrass restoration 🌿  Since 2026, we have partnered with @OneOceanFoundation as a PROUD Partner, supporting marine ecosystem restoration initiatives such as Blue Forest, focused on protecting Posidonia oceanica meadows. This collaboration reinforces our commitment to the responsible use of marine resources and the preservation of ocean biodiversity. Angola - Waste Management Transformation ♻️ A new Segregation and Valorisation Centre is upgrading waste management in Ambriz, shifting from unsorted landfill to recycling systems. The project promotes circular economy practices and supports local communities, benefiting around 54,000 people. Offices and sites worldwide – Cutting single-use 🥤 Disposable cups, bottles, and cutlery are being replaced with reusable alternatives across our facilities. These projects are part of how we work, from design through to decommissioning, in some of the most remote environments on Earth. #Saipem #EngineeringForASustainableFuture 

We have completed the lifting operations of the gas recovery module for the Bouri Gas Utilization Project (BGUP), offshore Libya, using its flagship #Saipem7000, one of the world’s largest crane vessels. The module, fabricated by Rosetti Marino Group of Companies at its Marina di Ravenna yard on our behalf, #EPCI main contractor for the Bouri project, represents a key component of the plant. The module left the yard to be transported to the Bouri field, located approximately 170 kilometres off the Libyan coast. The lifting of the module marks a major milestone in the execution phase of the project, confirming our ability to manage complex operations through advanced engineering planning and the use of heavy-lifting solutions, in full compliance with the highest standards of safety and reliability. The Bouri Gas Utilization Project, developed by Mellitah Oil & Gas (a joint venture between Eni and National Oil Corporation), aims to recover associated gas currently subject to flaring, the controlled combustion of excess gas that produces the typical flame visible in refineries or wells, and transport it to the Mellitah complex for use or export. 📣 A major milestone for our operations in Indonesia: the UCC UBA jacket, engineered in Jakarta and fabricated at our Karimun Yard, has successfully sailed away. This milestone reflects nearly 30 years of PT Saipem Indonesia commitment in the country and the strength of long-term partnerships, including our journey with bp and the development of Tangguh LNG. Once installed, these new facilities will enable carbon capture and storage capabilities, supporting enhanced gas recovery and reducing emissions across the entire complex. 📍The Karimun Yard is a strategic industrial asset for Indonesia and a key driver of local development. Since 2007, we have continuously invested in transforming this facility into one of the most advanced fabrication yards in the region. Looking ahead, the planned expansion of the yard will unlock further industrial opportunities for the Indonesian energy industry and  strengthen collaboration with national and local stakeholders. We would like to recognize bp for its continued trust, and our partner PT. Meindo Elang Indah for the strong collaboration throughout the execution of this project. We also express our profound appreciation to SKK Migas, the Bupati of Karimun, and to the national and local authorities and institutions who honored us with their presence. We have signed with Petrobras a Memorandum of Understanding (#MoU) to initiate a technical dialogue aimed at assessing and potentially developing integrated solutions for decommissioning activities in #Brazil, with reference to oil&gas fields, subsea systems and associated infrastructure. 👉 The objective is to help improve the efficiency, sustainability, and level of innovation of end‑of‑life infrastructure activities. Within the framework of the agreement, we will collaborate on the assessment of potential partnerships with specialized companies and institutions for decommissioning activities, as well as in the development and implementation of new technologies, methodologies and integrated solutions for this specific type of activity. The cooperation will also include the evaluation of logistical and operational alternatives. During the year, we avoided the emission of 82,600 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent. ✔ The results achieved in 2025 in terms of safety, and in particular the absence of fatal accidents, confirm a further improvement in performance in this area. We have also consolidated a new safety paradigm based on the concept of “Fail Safe”, supported by training programmes, organisational culture and adoption of tech solutions. ️✔ One million hours of training delivered to our people, promoting skills development, welfare and inclusion initiatives, and increasing awareness of human and labour rights.  ✔ Strong commitment to local communities was also confirmed, with more than 70 community projects delivered across 20 countries in education, health, socio-economic development and environmental protection. We marked 2 million manhours worked without Lost Time Injury (LTI) on board the FPSO Baleine, offshore Côte d’Ivoire. This achievement is part of a broader safety track record in Ivory Coast: since the beginning of the Baleine project, Saipem has reached approximately 8.7 million manhours LTI-free, combining drilling activities (Saipem 10000, Saipem 12000, Santorini and DVD), SURF 1 & 2, and FPSO operations, including the EPC offshore campaign and the operations and maintenance activities.
